How to setup a Dial-Up account

Please follow the instructions below for setting up your Cozahost Dial-Up account:

Navigate, Start/Settings/Control Panel.  Double click on Network and Dial-up Connections.

Double click on Make New Connection...

Creating a New Connection

Click the Next button.

Select Dial-up to the Internet (Connect to the internet using my phone line modem or ISDN).

Click the Next button.

Internet Connection Wizard

Select: I want to setup my Internet connection manually, or I want to connect through a local area network (LAN).

Now click the Next button.

Select the I connect through a phone line and modem option.

POP Numbers

Enter your area code, followed by the number of the POP (Point of presence) nearest to you, in the Telephone number text box.  NOTE: National POP number 086000 7249 is charged at local call rates.

Your country/region code should be South Africa [27].

Now click the Next button.

User Name and Password

In the User Name area, type the user id as supplied by Cozahost.

In the Password area, type the password as supplied by Cozahost.

Now click the Next button.

Almost done!

Enter the connection name E.g. Cozahost.  You can name the connection anything you like.

Email Account?

If you want to go ahead and setup your Cozahost E-mail account click Yes, you can visit this page for help on doing this: http://www.cozahost.com/support/.

If you want to set it up later, select No and click the Next button.

Done!

Congratulations! You configured your Cozahost Internet Dial-up account!

Click Finish and get connected! :-)

The procedure as described above will work every time, assuming your computer, windows, modem and phone line is in working order.
