How to reset an Email account password

Please follow these easy steps to reset any of your email account passwords.

1. Login to HELM

The first step is to login to your domain's web based control panel (Helm), eg http://helm.your-own-domain-name - which will take you to a page similar to the one shown below.

(If you lost your Control Panel login details, please click here.)

2. Go to the "Domain" menu

Click on "Domains", from here you can control any configuration aspect of your server.

3. Select your domain

Click on the domain where you want to reset an email account password.

4. Click "POP3 Email Accounts"

Click on the "POP3 Email Accounts" icon as displayed.

5. Select an email account

Select the email account where you need to reset the password.

6. Set your new Password

Delete everything displayed in the "Password" and "Confirm Password" fields.  Enter your new Password in both fields and click "Save".  Wait for the server confirmation.  Your password has now been updated.

(Please note, the number of asterisks (*) may appear to be more that the password you specified.  The server does this so that nobody can guess your password based on the amount of asterisks)
