For the more advanced web business, or entrepreneurs seeking to reduce the
total cost of their online ventures, we offer optional services.
Your web hosting package allows for significant upgrades to support your
growing business. The huge capacity we have available is able to handle
everything but the most demanding web sites - so, unless you are a competitor to
Google, we have the horsepower available to make your competitors sweat.
If you are planning to compete with Google, we
respectfully suggest that you invest a few million to buy your own
infrastructure. ;-)
Internet access accounts
We provide full, unlimited and unrestricted internet access services -
available as a local telephone call from virtually anywhere in South Africa.
(ADSL access account are subject to monthly cap.)

All hosting plans include free access to file based databases (like MS
Access). When there is a requirement for industrial strength databases,
MySql or SQL Server 2000 databases are available.

Fax
to email
With the fax to email service you are allocated your own personal 086
telephone number. When a fax is sent to that number, the fax is converted
into a graphical attachment (.tiff) and emailed to the email address of your
choice.
Receiving faxes are free and the monthly subscription fee to this service is
R 29.95(VAT excluded).
Our web hosting service includes 100 email (POP) accounts - each with it's
own user ID and password. In addition to this, you also get 500 email
forwarders and an catch-all email account.
In the unlikely event that you need more email accounts, you can hire 10 more
email (POP) accounts for R 10.00 per month (VAT excluded).
All email accounts include:
Web access to email with online rules processing
POP and SMTP access (for use with standard email
packages like MS Outlook)
The standard web hosting package includes 250Mb of disk space.
Should
you require more space, you can rent additional blocks of 50Mb for R 25 per
month (VAT excluded). There is no upper limit to the amount of additional
space you may rent.
(Note: If you need the additional space for a short time only, we will
arrange to make the space available at no charge. You need only apply for
more space if you require it on a long term basis)
Additional
bandwidth
The standard web hosting package includes 6 144 Mb (6 Gb) of data transfer
per month.
You can buy blocks of 1000 Mb (1 Gb) extra bandwidth per month for R 19.95 (VAT excluded),
and there is no upper limit to the amount of additional bandwidth you can
purchase.
Before you consider renting additional capacity, we advise that you consult
with us first. In many cases we find that a few small design changes (and
optimizing graphics) will significantly reduce your bandwidth requirements with
improved speed to your web visitors as a bonus. (Also see "The
common mistakes in web design" for background information on optimizing your
site)
Additional
domains on your web server
Your standard web hosting package allows you to host up to 10 additional
domain names on the same server, at no extra hosting cost. (You have to
register and renew the the additional internet domain names yourself)
These "domain aliases" are intended for alternate spellings of your domain
name, for instance: www.mydomain.co.za and www.mydomain.com and
www.mydomain.info - or for hosting divisions or branches of your business on the
same server.
It is not intended to be used for hosting 3rd parties on your
server. (If you have a requirement to host 3rd parties, please see our
reseller program)
